The Town of Dauphin Island has successfully secured funding from the National Fish and Wildlife Foundaiotn Gulf Environmental Benefit Fund (NFWFGEBF) to restore approximately 25 acres of marsh habitat of Graveline Bay. The marsh plants continue to grow to fill in the marsh mounds. The project was monitored by the Dauphin Island Sea Lab over three years (2023-2025). Re-entry cards are available by MAIL ONLY at this time, 1011 Bienville Blvd. Dauphin Island, AL 36528. Residents are allowed 4 per household at $5.00 per re-entry. Please mail by sending in a self-addressed stamped envelope with a check made payable to Town of Dauphin Island for the total amount of re-entry passes (maximum of four per household). If it is your first time purchasing re-entries you must show proof of ownership. Permanent residents – 5 years Part time residents – 2 years Renters – 1 year Business owner/contractors – 1 year **In case of an approaching storm, Town Hall will open additional hours to issue re-entry cards.
