The Dauphin Island Community Forum committee has been formed via the Strategic Planning Process following input from citizens/property owners regarding the need for island entities (Town of Dauphin Island, Dauphin Island Property Owners Association, Dauphin Island Park and Beach Board and Dauphin Island Water and Sewer Authority) to improve working relationships for the betterment of the entire island community. Bi-monthly meetings will be held on the second Thursday of the month beginning on September 13, 2007 at 7:00 PM. The first meeting will be held at Town Hall with subsequent meetings rotating to the other entities. Meeting chair shall be the representative of the host entity. Each representative will report happenings at his/her entity and then receive questions/comments from meeting attendees. In addition, the committee, from time to time, will work on special projects (ex. parking, development of a community center, etc.) important to our community. Please make plans to attend.
